Portal Tabs Overview¶
The GMS Interpretation Portal classifies referrals into distinct tabs, each representing a different status in the workflow:
Important Update: Lyra Release¶
Lyra Release Update
In the Lyra release, the SNP check has been removed from the case dispatch workflow. As a result, the Identity Check Failures and Identity Check Pending statuses are no longer relevant, and no cases will appear under these tabs.
Ready to Dispatch¶
Ready to Dispatch
Referrals in the Ready to Dispatch tab have an interpreted genome generated by Genomics England Tiering but have not yet been sent to the Decision Support Systems (DSS).
For cancer cases, preliminary and supplementary reports are available for download when they are in this stage.
Important Note
Although it is possible to create a Summary of Findings (SoF) using the Interpretation Browser for cases in the Ready to Dispatch tab, users are encouraged not to review results unless there is clinical urgency. It is recommended to wait until the results are available in the To Be Reviewed tab.
To Be Reviewed¶
To Be Reviewed
The To Be Reviewed tab contains referrals that have been successfully loaded into the DSS. Users can link out to the DSS from this tab for further investigation and review of the case.
Pending Outcomes¶
Pending Outcomes
Referrals listed in the Pending Outcomes tab have been reviewed in the Interpretation Portal or the DSS and have a Summary of Findings (SoF) generated. For cancer cases, this includes a preliminary report. However, the reporting outcomes questionnaire has not yet been completed for these referrals.
Reported Cases¶
Reported Cases
Referrals in the Reported Cases tab have both a Summary of Findings (SoF) and a completed reporting outcomes questionnaire. These referrals are considered "closed," but users can re-review them at any time using the Interpretation Browser.
